Dear wind music composers , What a great opportunity for all of you to compete in this new Jeju Composition for Wind Ensemble. As a composer and as a conductor I was invited three times to the Jeju International Wind Ensemble Festival in the past. I conducted memorable concerts there, with the Jeju Wind Orchestra, the Republic of Korea Navy Band, the Jeju Provincial Seogwipo Choir and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Jeju Chorale Also this festival commissioned me to compose "Goddess of Jeju Island", a composition about the creation of Jeju. It was conducted by Eugene Corporon in my presence during the premiere. I hope the stories about this festival inspire you composers all over the world.
